No Player Will Leave The Country If The Earn GHC5000 Monthly- Mohammed Alhassan

Most football analysts and stakeholders have complained on countless times that the amount of money earned by players in the Ghana Premier league is too small. Now a player who plays in the league has also said that if players take home GHC5000 as salary no footballer will leave the league.

Ghanaian International and Hearts of Oak defender Mohammed Alhassan has told Ghanaians and the Ghana Football Association that, no player will leave the country if they earn an amount of GHC5000 monthly. He said this on Angel TV today.

He said, “Let’s be honest to ourselves, if a Ghana Premier league player earns GHC5000 monthly, no player will leave the country.”

Mohammed Alhassan revealed this to Saddick Adams on Angel TV today. He also said that, due to the suffering players go through, if a player earns about GHC5000 spend GHC2000 and save GHC3000 and this can do a lot of things.

Alhassan said, “Because of the suffering we go through, a typical Ghanaian player will be able to spend GHC2000 and save GHC3000 and that can do a lot.”
