In a video which has started making waves on the internet, a man has been arrested by the Ghana Police at the Baba Yara Sports stadium.
According report as sighted by 3Sportsgh, a channel station under TV3 reveals that the man was arrested for selling fake tickets to fans who want to go and watch the game between Hearts of Oak and Bechem United.
Voice from persons at the background in the video revealed that the suspect was trying to call his boss with the hope of setting him free. Others revealed that the people selling the fake tickets were a lot but they had all run away.
The issue of stadium ticketing has been solved by the vice president of Ghana. The government brought out a system which helps football fans to buy their tickets online without queuing to buy one manually. This project has saved a lot money for the teams and the nation as well. There have been several cases where the number of tickets sold manually do not reflect the income generated.Â
Tickets for the FA Cup Finals were not done using digitization method. They used the manual method and due to that scammers and fraudsters set in to deceive people.
