Npp Chairman Hopeful Sends A Brilliant Message To Akufo-Addo Over Building Of National Cathedral

A National Chairman Hopeful of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Stephen Asamoah Boateng has finally told Akufo-Addo to tackle the poverty situation in the country first before building the National Cathedral. Stephen Asamoah boldly sent this brilliant message to the President and the government while speaking on The Probe on Joy News today, June 26, 2022.

During an exclusive interview on Joy News and discussing a variety of matters, Stephen Asamoah-Boateng was asked about his impression on the National Cathedral and he revealed that he isn’t against the building of the cathedral but the Akufo-Addo government should first tackle the poverty situation in the country before things like that can follow. He added that the building of the Cathedral does not mean that the NPP has lost their priority.

“ I want the Cathedral built to honour God, but I believe we need to take our time. We must tackle the poverty situation before such a thing is implemented. If government money is being used then we need to slow down. The private sector and the Christian community must be engaged to take it up. We have not lost our priority as a party.” Stephen Asamoah-Boateng boldly revealed this on Joy News today.

Do you agree with him that the government should rather tackle the poverty situation in the country first before building the cathedral?
