Maccabi Haifa Defender, David Acquah, has stated that pitches in the country contributes for low games patronage in the Ghana Premier League.
Acquah, an Israeli based professional laments ordeal players in the local leagues endure in conquest to talent survival and future foreign moves for green pastures.
“The quality in the Ghana Premier League is very high but its facilities is what’s lacking”.
“One thing they don’t understand is, the pitches are in terrible state and same people will complain about the bad state of the Ghana Premier League but if the league will become the best of it kind, it mostly depends on the pitches.
If you’ve the quality there’s no way that side of you will be revealed, even a good pass from a player can roll somewhere”.
“ pitches here are good, why do players in the GPL complain? If we voice out, then officials will do something about it”, he quizzed.
