A lady by the name of Gyamfua met her husband called Kwaku Danso after she completed Junior High School. He came to meet her family members and promised to marry her in no time. Gyamfua said the man help her to start learning hairstyling and he too travelled to do galamsey work for one year.
They got married after he came back and they went to stay together at Ahenema-Kokoben in Kumasi. The lady gives details that she got pregnant and gave birth to their first child. But she again conceived when their child was only seven months. Her husband convinced her to abort the baby, he gave her money to buy the medicine for the abortion but she didn’t buy it.
Her husband then informed his mother about the pregnancy, and her mother-in-law too recommended herbal medicine for her to drink but the abortion was not successful. The lady said her husband gave her money to start trading at where they were staying. He too got a security job at a new site but Danso’s attitude changed, he no longer chats with her as he usually does, the mother of two starts to suspects her husband of being cheating on her.
She then asked her husband about it but he revealed to her that it is true that he is dating another woman. It got to a time that he stopped visiting them, he came for his belongings and his stepchild she was staying with. Gyamfua decided not to allow him to send the child but he beat her and left with his child. The lady said her husband later told her that he wants to divorce her because she is not the kind of woman who can help him to succeed in life.
