A Ghanaian develops AI powered Web App to help WASSCE students.

A Ghanaian edutech Suacode.ai has developed a web-based application to help students in their studies. Kwame AI as it’s called enables students to ask questions based on the science subjects of the West African Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). Questions asked to come with instant answers together with diagrams where available. Kwame AI provides the top 5 past WASSCE questions related to the asked question, the correct answer, an explanation for the answer, and which year it appeared.

I believe that this is revolutionary and will help make studies much easier for students preparing for their WASSCE exams. The app currently works for only integrated science with more subjects to be added soon. The app is also named Kwame in reverence to our first president Dr Kwame Nkrumah.

We are excited about this milestone that will remove barriers for students across West Africa and enable them to get instant answers to their questions as they prepare for this year’s WASSCE. Kwame AI will radically transform how students get help in their learning journeys. In the future, students will be able to ask Kwame questions in African languages and via offline channels such as USSD and toll-free calling,” says George Boateng, CEO and Co-founder of SuaCode.ai.
