According to Nii Aryee, the worst opposition in the history of Ghana is the Minority in Parliament. He explained his dissapointment about how the NDC watched while procurement breaches were ongoing. He asked why the Minority in Parliament did not vehemently oppose various unfavorable decisions by the ruling government.
Nii Aryee told Captain Smart that the Minority in Parliament should not take part in street demonstrations since they have so much power in Parliament. He advised the Minority to probe the issues in respect of the National Cathedral and ensure that the right things are done.
Nii Aryee also mentioned that if the NDC were very strong, the ruling government would not have taken huge sums to pay David Adjaye , the architect for the national cathedral. He further explained that the minority should have stopped the government from making huge payments to the national cathedral.
