Majority Leader Had To Storm NIA Office Before His Ghana Card Was Given To Him – Sam George Reveals

The member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram constituency, Honorable Sam Nartey George has dropped some revelations that may seem surprising to many.

Speaking on TV3 this morning, Sam George clearly revealed that it took more than a year before the majority leader of parliament, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu got his Ghana Card from NIA. Sam George added that Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu had to take a car and storm the premises of the NIA before his Ghana Card was given to him.

“Let me put it on record, senior government minister in Parliament, Kyei Mensah Bonsu has registered for Ghana Card for over a year. It was only last week that he had to move to NIA as leader of government business, majority leader, minister for parliamentary affairs before they gave him his card” he said

Sam George’s main concern is that even if Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, who happens to be a minister of state had to go through this stress to get his Ghana Card, then how much more the ordinary Ghanaian. He is therefore urging the authorities at the NIA to do the needful and make sure that Ghanaians get their Ghana Cards on time. He added that most people waste a lot of productive hours just to get a Ghana Card.
