SEVEN PEOPLE have been appointed to the Ashanti Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP) executives.
They join the ten elected executives, thereby increasing the total number of the Ashanti Regional executives to 17.
The appointed executives are Yahya Salifu, Deputy Youth Organiser; Kwaku Atta Christian, Deputy Organiser; Abagna Samuel, Financial Secretary; and Hamisu Ibrahim, the Deputy Nasara Coordinator.
Others are Dennis Kwakwa, Communications Officer; Stephen Owusu, Research; and Victoria Dogbe, Deputy Women’s Organiser.
The NPP elected 10 regional executives few weeks ago to manage the affairs of the party for four years.
The appointments are in line with the party’s constitution, which mandates seven party members to be appointed to the executives.
The 17 executives are expected to cast their ballots when the NPP elects its national executives soon.
The party’s national executives’ elections is scheduled to take place in Accra.
The appointed officers have begun receiving congratulatory messages via social media.
