Speaking to his congregation to mark Father’s Day celebration, the leader and founder of Alabaster International Ministry, Prophet Dr. Kofi Oduro revealed that, the former President of South Africa, Nelson Mandela was the only African President so far who led a very diligent and exemplary leadership role unlike our previous and current Presidents in Ghana who are rather interested in the exact opposite.
“People immediately rise to their feet once his name is mentioned. What made Mandela such popular? He ruled for only one term of office; after four years, Mandela said No, he will not be President again because he had already accomplished what he promised the people. He is the only person who can call the President of the USA at 2 am for money and the call will be put through; Why? He is a leader and a father. President Mandela was a celebrity to celebrities but never wore designer wear but the leaders in Ghana, both NPP and NDC are rather do otherwise. They’re always looting as if there’s no tomorrow. How do you think the youth will rate the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and especially the 4th republic. I sit down and I cry; our forefathers suffered for nothing. Look at how fame, money, popularity and wealth can corrupt and change people. How come Mandela was not corrupt?
