Just In: Ken Ofori Ata Banned From Parliamentary Duties Until Further Notice.

The Minister of Finance Honorable Ken Ofori Ata has been banned from performing his Parliament budget presentation duties until further notice. All his pending motions and presentations to Ghana’s house of legislature has been frozen. This was officially orchestrated by the speaker of Parliament Right Honorable Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin.

According to the speaker, Honorable Ken Ofori Ata has refused to account to the house about their quest regarding COVID 19 expenditure. The speaker is of the view that, if COVID expenses hasn’t been accounted for, then the house can never listen or deliberate on any budget or submission from the Finance minister.

” Mark my words. We will not entertain any business from you until you render accounts” Unhappy Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin told Honorable Ken Ofori Ata after he failed to avail himself for presentation on the total COVID expenditure.
