Besiktas and Fernabache are part of three clubs that are looking forward to getting the signature of Ghanaian Striker Caleb Ekuban. Caleb Ekuban is also being tracked by Serie A side Spezia who want to enforce the attacking capability of the team after they narrowly escaped relegation to Serie B last season.
The 28-year-old joined Genoa on a four-year deal last year after he forced a departure from Trabzonspor. Throughout the season with Genoa, he struggled and was able to get a goal alongside two assists but it was not enough to save Genoa from relegation.
Reports say that Ekuban’s wages are too much for a player in a second-division club and Genoa is looking to sign him off at the right price. Caleb Ekuban according to the transfer market is worth 1.8 million euros but Genoa could sell him off for over 2 million euros to any of these three clubs.
