Isaac ‘The Royal Storm’ Dogboe’s management has responded angrily to news that the former super bantamweight champion has changed his nationality.
On Wednesday, June 15, reports surfaced that the youngest ever Ghanaian world boxing champion had swapped nationalities and was now fighting for the Union Jack rather than the Ghanaian flag.
His bosses at Rising Star Africa Promotions, on the other hand, disregarded the “falsehood.”
“He has always fought for Ghana and has never issued any communication or granted any interview on the subject of switching nationalities. Please ignore any such information”.
Dogboe is gearing up for a battle with American Joet Gonzalez next month, and his team is looking for help instead.
“Let us all rally behind him as the NABF Champion to clinch the number one title contender position for the motherland on Saturday, July 23rd, 2022 at the Grand Casino Hinckley, Minnesota, USA.”
