Public Notice – Ghana Police Service

The Ghana Police Service has released a statement to alert the general public on the prevailing raining situation within Greater Accra and it’s environs.

The statement is to caution various road users on possible flooding in flooding prone areas. The also want the public to know that they have deployed their men within the region and anyone who need any assistance contact them through their emergency lines

The statement noted “Accra and its surrounding enclaves are experiencing a downpour and due to this, Commuters and motorists are advised to be cautious as some places might be flooded. Low-lying and flood-prone areas should be avoided as much as possible. Police patrol teams have been deployed and are on the ground to ensure the safety of all.”

The rain is still not over yet, make sure you use roads that don’t have much issues of flooding.

Anyone in an emergency due to the weather should contact the Police Emergency numbers 18555, 191 or 112 for assistance.
