The Editor of the Hawk Newspaper, Charles McCarthy has reacted to the reconstruction of the National Cathedral.
According to Charles Mccarthy, the National Cathedral could have been used as a relics and tourist site in Ghana but the building has been demolished due to the Knowledge that the leaders lack.
Charles McCarthy said there is no sense in using two hundred million Ghana Cedis (GH¢200,000,000) to reconstruct the National Cathedral whiles the building of hospitals and trade fair centers were demolished and are not able to be built for the past years.
Charles McCarthy said if he was to be the government, he would rather use the two hundred million Ghana Cedis (GH¢200,000,000) to invest in food, crude oil, and other food storage because the hardship is globally and in times like this, the National Cathedral shouldn’t have been demolished for the money to be spent on it.
