A long-term target for the European Champions, Tchouameni who rose to fame in the just-ended season has reportedly sealed a transfer move from French outfit AS Monaco today to join international teammates – Karim Benzema, Eduardo Camavinga and Ferland Mendy on an €80M whooping deal.
The central-defensive midfielder who joined from league rivals Bordeaux in 2020 has made a huge career step by completing a transfer deal worth four times the fee that was triggered by Monaco two years ago.
Currently, with the France national team in the UEFA Nations League, the 22-year-old last season was phenomenal as he made 46 appearances in all competitions – sighting five player of the week honours, scoring five goals and providing two assists along with per game statistics of: 2.9 interceptions, 2.5 tackles, 87% pass accuracy and other relevant stats.
Similar style to Luka Modric who extended his contract on a one-year deal a few days ago, the fourth Frenchman to join the Los Blancos is regarded as an ideal replacement.
