Felix Kwakye in his new tweet on social media has thrown some shades to the government over the money spent on the National Cathedral. This time around, he compared the money former president Mahama used to build a hospital at Shai Osu-Doku to the money the current government has sent on the national cathedral.
He wrote, “The picture on the left cost the tax payer GHS 200 million under the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government. The Picture on the right is the 130 bed Shia Osu-Doku District Hospital built by President Mahama and it cost GHS 115 million”.
Felix Kwakye was the deputy information minister during the Mahama administration. He currently works as an aide to the former president. Personally, I will urge the leaders to be transparent in all their dealings to the people they have sworn an oath to serve. You can also share your thoughts by using the comments box below.
