John Mahama has jabbed Nana Addo in his latest speech but it seems most Ghanaians overlooked it and could not see the message he was trying to send out there. Mahama for some days now has been silent amid the chaotic movements across social media. Mahama is the Npp’s greatest threat at least for what we have seen in the election polls. Mahama has remained an affable candidate for the Ndc and has contributed immensely to their victory and this is the reason for his respect and celebration in the party.
Over the past few years, Mahama has complained bitterly on how the president, Nana Addo and his people have treated Ghanaians. He claims Ghanaians deserve better and this is not what they’re getting from Nana Addo. Mahama started by saying that he was a man of free speech and freedom. But this freedom has been taken away from Ghanaians by Nana Addo. Mahama revealed that over the past few years media persons have been hunted down and silenced by Nana Addo and this is unacceptable.
Mahama during his post on the Ndc’s 30 years celebration made this point in one of his paragraphs where he jabbed Nana Addo for being a hinderance to many who want their voice heard or to be able to speak up. Mahama revealed that the Ndc is committed to giving freedom to Ghanaians and ensuring that the needs of Ghanaians are met. He used the platform to call out Nana Addo for making the media personalities or journalists in the country voiceless because they, the Npp do not want their deeds to be exposed or spoken about and that is bad for the development of the country. Ghana suffers when these decisions are made and democracy is not implemented. Mahama was poised at making these facts known in his statement today.
