Member of Parliament for the Ningo Prampram constituency, Sam Nartey George has asserted that his relatives who have defected to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) are lost.
The vociferous MP traced his family’s affiliation to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to his grandfather who he said was a founding member of the NDC in the constituency he now represents in Parliament.
By that, he says, he became a member by birth and indicated that his bloodline has the NDC DNA.
“I joined NDC by birth”, he stated.
“There are some (of my relatives) who have defected to the NPP. They are lost”, he added.
Sam George had his elementary and high school education in Nigeria where he grew up with his father but moved to Ghana to read Agricultural Engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and graduated in 2005.
