A Lady Narrates Why She Has Decided Not To Get Married To Her Boyfriend

A lady known as Afia Pokua got into a relationship with Ibrahim Seidu 4 years ago, she got pregnant a few months after she dated him. The lady explained that after she gave birth to her child, her boyfriend’s behaviour towards her changed, he started accusing her of sleeping with different men anytime she goes to evening church, and he warned her not to go to the evening church again.

She didn’t listen to him and went to church one evening, Seidu didn’t allow her to sleep in the room, she slept on their veranda till the next morning. Afia said it got to a point that, the man started beating her whenever they had a misunderstanding. Afia again said she broke up with him and went back to her mother’s house but Seidu came there and pleaded with her to come back.

She forgave him and came back to stay with him again but he continued to beat her with any little issues they had. The man then informed her that she wants to marry her but because of how he has been beating her continuously she has decided not to marry him. According to Seidu, he met Afia when she was working at a chop bar, they became friends and got into a relationship.

After she gave birth, she started having affairs with different men. He advised her to put a stop to her behaviour but she told him that he is not legally married to her. Seidu said her behaviour made him beat her so that she will change from that behaviour. Seidu revealed that he is now ready to get married to his girlfriend but she told him that she will not marry him because he has beaten her.
