The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced that its planned maintenance works in some parts of the country’s capital, Greater Accra. The said maintenance work would take place today Tuesday, 7th June 2022. The ECG is undertaking this activity to improve service delivery in some areas in the Greater Accra Region.
According to ECG, there would be some 8 areas in the Greater Accra Region that would be affected as a result of the exercise. These areas are Pantang, Bola, Abokobi, Akpoman, Boiman, Sesemi, Adjagonte, and Ofankor.
The scheduled time for the exercise is from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The ECG has however apologized to its customers for the inconvenience that will arise from the maintenance exercise.
The regular maintenance exercise by the ECG helps to solve problems little problems concerning the distribution of power and also improves customer satisfaction. Electricity is used by almost everyone in Ghana since it makes life much easier. It can however be dangerous if not checked and maintained regularly.
