The Wise Decision Taken By Mahama Is What Is Saving Us From Terrorism

A top security analyst and the President of the Institute for Security, Disaster and Emergency Studies, Ishmeal Norman, has revealed the main reason why Ghana has not been invaded by terrorists like they have done in the neighboring countries. According to him, Ghanaians should be thankful to Former President John Dramani Mahama, because had it not been for him, Ghanaiana would have been attacked by terrorists.

This was the reason why he made this declaration.

“I believe that the only reason why we have been spared it’s because of the wise decision made by John Dramani Mahama to accept those two Guantanamo bay prisoners in Ghana. What he did, did not mean that Ghana was in support of terrorism but rather, it meant that Ghana is a good neighbour even if you are a terrorist”.

It will be recalled that in 2016, Mahama received two Yemeni nationals from the United States government who were in detention for 14 years after being linked with the terrorist group Al-Qaeda, were brought to Ghana in 2016, for a period of two years.

The shocking aspect was that, the NPP who were then in opposition were against this move of Mahama.
