The New Juaben Traditional Council in the Eastern Region of Ghana has installed a new chief (Omanhene).
The enstoolment of the new chief comes after the demise of Daasebre Oti Boateng.
Nana Kwadwo Yeboah Gyamfi has been made the new chief for the people of New Juaben, Koforidua.
According to Gabby Otchere-Darko, four royal contested for the position but Nana Kwadwo Yeboah Gyamfi was unanimously endorsed due to his ascension.
Mr. Gabby Otchere-Darko says Nana Kwadwo Yeboah Gyamfi’s elevation has been greeted warmly by the people of New Juaben, especially the women at the central market.
Also, his stool name will soon be revealed.
Gabby Otchere-Darko writes;
”New Juaben has a new Omanhene, Nana Kwadwo Yeboah Gyamfi. Four royals contested but his ascension has been unanimously endorsed. Born in Koforidua, his elevation has been greeted warmly by the people, especially the women at the central market. His stool name yet to be revealed.”
