The member of parliament for North Tongu constituency, Honorable Okudzeto Ablakwa is undoubtedly one of the best MPs in Ghana.Â
Speaking on GhOne TV this morning, the host of the show, Serwaa Amihere asked Okudzeto Ablakwa to reveal the source of funding to the the numerous projects he has been doing in his constituency.
“You are one of the MPs who give incentives to your constituents. I follow you on Twitter and I see the incentives you give to your people. My question on that is how do you fund them because you are an MP and we have an idea of how much you are getting” she asked
Okudzeto Ablakwa answered and revealed to her that all those projects were not done by government but through his personal intervention and supports from some NGOs.
He added that he recently paid some amount of money to all NSS personnel in his constituency. He added that such money was funded by him personally using his two months salary.
Aside this, Okudzeto Ablakwa added that he recently announced to construct a 15 tonne cassava processing factory in his constituency. According to him, such project was funded by some Chinese individuals and some bank partnerships in Ghana.
He again revealed that he commenced the construction of a hospital in his constituency. He added that such project too was sponsored by a Spanish entity and also the Catholic church of Ghana.
