The whole anti-LGBTQ bill Controversies has been silenced over the past few months by the increasing economic hardship Ghanaians are facing coupled by the e-levy, Achimota Forest brouhaha and the attempt to reintroduce the Agyapa deal. Capitalizing on that, some anonymous group have erected a Pro LGBTQ+ billboard on a principal street of Accra.
On the billboard, there were four hands joined together and each hand had a band or a bracelet designed with the colours of the LGBTQ+ group. Right on the billboard was a clear inscription, “When all Ghanaians are treated equally no matter who they are, no matter who they love, that is true freedom”.
Reacting to this, a top member of the NDC communication team Elikem Kotoko wrote, “Wow, pro LGBTQ billboards being erected in parts of the capital, Accra. The same man is building a National Cathedral for us.”
Other Ghanaians also massively reacted on seeing this board.
