Whiles some Ghanaians are jubilating for the Black Stars for topping the 2022/2023 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers group E, some section of these same people are also sad and very disappointed with the Black Satellites for not winning any of their three matches at the 2022 Toulon Tournament in France.
Two national football teams from the Republic of Ghana played games or matches this afternoon. Black Stars played their second game with Central Africa Republic at Angola and Black Satellites also played their last game against Venezuela in the Toulon Tournament.
Most Ghanaian football fans expected the senior team, the Black Stars of Ghana to win or gain three points, but unfortunately they only got a point from the host Central Africa Republic.
The game ended in a 1-1 score. Ghanaian midfielder and playmaker Mohammed Kudus scored the only goal for the Black Stars and Central African Republic player, Karl Namnganda equalized the score at the 41st minute. Black Stars topped the group with 4 points.

On the other hand, the Black Satellites took the lead on the 54th minute through Zubairu Ibrahim’s goal but sadly the Venezuela team equalized it on the 74th minute.
The game went to penalties, unfortunately the Ghanaian team lost to the Venezuela team. Black Satellites finished the group at the bottom of the table with 0 points.
