Asante Kotoko call out fans to the Baba Yara Stadium for their GPL coronation in Kumasi on Sunday

Ghana Premier League, GPL giants Asante Kotoko has called out their fans on Sunday for their coronation as champions of this season’s competition.

The Porcupines have won a record extending 26th top-flight title and will be decorated for their efforts on Sunday in Kumasi.

On the day, Asante Kotoko will host Elmina Sharks at the Baba Yara Stadium in a GPL Matchday 33 fixture as they honour their last home game of the campaign.

The coronation will be made right after the game with the relegated side and, Kotoko will be presented with a giant trophy and medals for their dominant display this season.

With two matches to end the 2021/22 GPL campaign, Asante Kotoko leads the standing by 10 points and, they will look to end their campaign at home on a high with a win over Elmina Sharks on Sunday.

And in anticipation of this, the club has called on their supporters to gather at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi in their numbers to witness this historic feat.

Kotoko has taken to their media channels in announcing this move and hope the fans will heed to this call as they celebrate winning a first GPL crown in eight years.
