Asantehene Sends More Than 50 High Profile Delegation Of Chiefs And Queens To Cote D’Ivoire

The king of Asante Kingdom, Otumfour Osei Tutu II has send about 50 high profile delegation of Chiefs and queens from the Asante Kingdom to Cote d’Ivoire to represent him.

On Thursday, June 2, the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II sent a high profile delegation of Chiefs and people, led by Kuntenasemanhene Ogyeaboɔ Amankwaa Adunan II, to represent Asantehene, and Asanteman in Cote d’Ivoire to mourn with Nana Henri Konan (Kwabena) Bedie, whose brother’s sad demise reached the Asante Kingdom in shock.

Henri Konan (Kwabena) Bedie was the Former President of Cote d’Ivoire and has been very sad about the death of his beloved brother Nanan Bédié Koffi Marcelin.

The delegation comprising of high profile chiefs, queen mothers and some people from the Ashanti Region left the country on the 2nd to perform the funeral rites with Henri Konan (Kwabena) Bedie.

Also, after the funeral rites of Nanan Bédié Koffi Marcelin, the delegation joined to mourn with the Baoule Royals of Daoukro, Cote d’Ivoire, who trace their ancestry from Nsuta, Asante (Ghana).
