Dr Mahamudu Bawumiah has penned down an emotional message as he wishes the former second lady, Hajia Aliu Mahama farewell. The former second lady, Hajia Aliu Mahama has joined her late husband as she has been put to rest as well today. The former Vice President who served the new patriotic party and the former president, his excellency John Agyekum Kuffuor was an honorable man. The man barely had any public issues and was respected by Ghanaians and not members of the new patriotic party alone. Such an honorable and gentleman will forever be remembered and a hard one to do replace.
The demise of his wife, Hajia Aliu Mahama has been another sad story for the people of Ghana. Her philanthropic and selfless lifestyle earned her a place among many great people in the country and not only because she was married to her late husband. The occasion was graced by the former president, John Agyekum Kuffuor, the Npp’s national chairman, the chief imam, Sheik Nuhu Sharubutu and several others. The occasion also featured several other supporters of the Npp who came to show love and care for the family of the deceased.
The former Vice President after these sad scenes at the event were captured on camera made a few posts of pictures from the scene with a caption that wished her a farewell. There was not only gatherings of dignitaries from the Npp alone but scenes of socialization among members of the Npp and other party officials who were assigned by their parties to come and support the family of the deceased. These great people are leaving one after the other, and it is only a matter of time to see most of them depart after their good works are completed. There is an unending prayer and wish for more people like herself and other lost great men and women.N
