Asante Kotoko midfielder Richard Boadu ‘Agadas’, has won the supporters player of the month award for May for his outstanding displays for the club.
Agadas, has been impressive for the Porcupines since joining them from fellow top-flight campaigners Medeama SC just before the start of this season.
His contributions in midfield and in attack, has helped Kotoko to win this season’s championship with three matches to spur.
The player played a key role for the Porcupines last month helping them to pick important points in the build up to winning their 26th Ghana Premier League, GPL title this season.
Coach Prosper Nartey Ogum has used him in different positions in the middle of the park this season and, his exploits for the Porcupines last month, has seen him winning the supporters player of the month award.
The award was instituted by the Asante Kotoko’s supporters group based in North America known as Circle 001 to motivate players of the club to give off their best at all times.
Boadu will receive a plague and a cash prize of GHc2000 for his troubles and, he will look to build on this performance.
Boadu will hope to be a part of the Asante Kotoko squad for their next game against Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
