Parliament Police To Arrest “Fake” Deputy Speaker Of Parliament. Read Details

The parliamentary service board has released a statement to the general public, cautioning them to desist from having a chat with a “fake” Joe Osei Owusu on Facebook.

In the notice, Parliament clearly revealed that the Deputy speaker of Parliament, Honorable Joe Osei Owusu has no account on Facebook. 

This comes after some imposters on social media created an account using the name of the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Joe Wose and also his personal picture to dupe people.

Parliament Police have been urged to arrest these imposters so that investigations can commence. It could be seen from the notice that some Ghanaians have been chatting with the “fake” Joe Wise asking him for favour. These imposters try to take something from Ghanaians and pretend to help them in return.
