The black stars of Ghana last night run riot against their Madagasy opponents winning by three goals to nil. The affair was a one sided one with Ghana dominating the entirety of the game. Taking a lion’s share of the 1st half possession by 65% to 35%. They also had a total of 14 attempts on goal with 4 saved by the goalkeeper in the opening half. However, they couldn’t break the deadlock.

Mohammed Kudus opened the floodgates with a comfortable finish after Afena Gyan did an excellent job and squaring the ball to him from the right side of attack.

Afena Gyan then scored the second of the game , opening his national team account after 3 games. The teenager was a danger to the opponents throughout the game.

Osman Bukari who came on for Abdul Fatawu, got the third for Ghana due to a blunder at the back. He kept his composure infront of goal rounding goalkeeper Razakanirina before slotting in his first Black stars goal.

It was an overall impressive performance from Otto Addo and his men in all aspects of the game.

New boy Antoine Semenyo marked his debut, coming on to replace Afena Gyan.
