It is undeniable that Otto Addo named 33 players for the matches against Madagascar and Central African Republic in the AFCON Qualifiers and the four-nation tournament that is going to be held in Japan early this month. The number of players exceeds the number that FIFA requires a nation to have for the tournament.
Henry Asante Twum stated that some of the players themselves know that some will not make it to the World Cup since qualified countries are expected to present 23 players. He made the statement while stating that the Black Stars will have to defeat Madagascar to start their campaign on a very good note.
