There has to be a miracle before we can beat Ghana – Madagascar coach begins mind games

The qualifying matches for the AFCON 2023 kicks off this week as Ghana takes on their rivals Madagascar in Group E. On Wednesday, the Black Stars will take on the Bareans of Madagascar at 7 p.m. in Cape Coast.

Coming up against a football nation like Ghana means a tough task and special forces are needed.

The Madagascar coach has acknowledged the difficulty in playing against Ghana but he is more worried about players that will not be available. Though he has promised to deliver using his young players.

“It is very difficult for us because I have five key players out. They are very good players but my young and the local players can do it. There has to be a miracle before we can beat Ghana.

“We are very proud to play against such a team but we can do surprise. ‘We can’. I think my young players can pull up a surprise.”
