Ghana will be playing the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier and they come up against Madagascar on June 1st. Ghana will be looking forward to qualifying for the tournament which will be held in Cote D’Ivoire next year. The four time African champions had a poor show in Cameroon last year which resulted in the termination of Milovan Rajevach’s contract. Coach Otto Addo and his boys know what is at stake and will want to get an impressive start especially as they are playing in front of their home fans at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
Madagascar will come into this game as the underdogs and would like to cause an upset with the slightest of opportunity. The Black Stars will miss two key players; Thomas Partey and Alexander Djiku who were instrumental in their qualification to the 2022 world cup. Despite that blow, the team is strengthened by the return of sensational winger Kamaldeen Sulemana, the inclusion of Bristol forward Antoine Semenyo and other youngsters who are poised to make a difference.
Ghana is in group E with Madagascar, Central African Republic and Angola. Ghana’s match is at 7pm on 1st June and four days later they will play the Central African Republic at 1pm. Share your views and win amazing prizes with AgroGame.
