A woman called Cynthia narrated what her husband told her just after a month of getting married to him. In the woman’s narration, she was in a relationship with a married man, the man took good care of her and even bought land for her. She spent most of her vacation with her boyfriend in abroad.
Cynthia said she was aware of the man’s marital status but she couldn’t quit the relationship due to how he provided all her needs. Years later, Cynthia met another man named Akwasi Agyemang who is in Italy, he promised to marry her within a short period. Cynthia accepted his proposal and decided to break with her boyfriend who is married and starts a new life with Akwasi.
Cynthia revealed that her boyfriend pleaded with her on several occasions not to break up with him because he loves her but still Cynthia didn’t listen to any of his pleadings. She went ahead and break up with him and started being in a relationship with Akwasi, few months later, Akwasi came to Ghana and they got married. Cynthia stated that her husband spent one month in Ghana but she only had happiness in her marriage for the first two weeks.
The rest of the other weeks became tough for her. They continuously had misunderstandings on each blessed day. After Akwasi went back to Italy, he called his wife and told her that he cannot go ahead with the marriage again due to the misunderstanding they had within a few weeks of getting married. He again told Cynthia that he had divorced her so she can marry another person.
The woman said she pleaded with her husband not to divorce her but still he didn’t listen to her. A few months later her father-in-law sacked her from the house Akwasi rented for her and now life has become difficult for her. According to Agya Kwabena Dwumo, he is the brother of Akwasi’s father and he was the one who helped the man in all their marriage ceremony.
But one month after the marriage, he got information from his brother that Akwasi has divorced Cynthia. He didn’t agree with this decision but his brother supported his son. Agya Dwumo said he advised his brother to let Akwasi compensate the woman but he didn’t listen to his advice.
