Tamale : Suspect Nearly Lynched For Stealing Motor Bike At UDS Campus

A suspected motor bike thief was nearly lynced on Friday 27th May 2022 at the Dungu Campus of the University For Development Studies (UDS) after he attempted to bolt away with a motorcycle.

The suspect went to the Faculty of education building with his accomplice where motorcycles were parked and tried to steal the motorcycle.

The suspects reportedly dress like students to appear like they are students from the University.

They used a master key to open two motorcycles parked outside the Faculty of education building and tried to sped off with the motorcycles.

But, unfortunately for them, they were spotted by some students of the s and they were given a hot chase.

One of the suspects was arrested as he attempted to jumped off from the moving motor cycle, but his accomplice managed to escape.

It took the intervention of some people in the area to prevent the suspect from being lynched.

The stolen of motorcycles on the campus of UDS is very rampant as authorities have put in place measures to address the problem.
