Five Hearts of Oak players earn Black Stars B call up.

The local-based Black Stars are gearing up for their upcoming CHAN qualifiers. The coach in charge Annor Walker has called up the players he will be using in the battle on the field. Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko are heavily represented. 5 players from the Phobians have made it into the squad for the qualifiers. They are Goalkeeper Richard Attah, Afriyie Barnieh, Seidu Suraj, Mohammed Alhassan and Ibrahim Salifu. These players have been outstanding for Hearts in the ongoing season.

Ghana has failed to qualify for the tournament in the past 3 editions and will be hoping to make it to the next edition. The Black Stars ‘B’ are two-time silver medalists after reaching the final in the maiden edition in 2009 and also the 2014 edition.

Algeria will host the next edition of the tournament which comes off on January 8-31, 2023. Annor Walker will be hoping to qualify for the upcoming edition and also do well in the tournament.
