The First Ghanaian Professional Footballer To Have Ever Won The Europa Conference League In His Teen

The Europa Conference League tournament is played among all the European qualified clubs in Europe. This tournament starts from a group stage matches and ends up on a final match. The Europa Conference League for 2021 to 2022 has just ended with an Italian top football club called As Roma as the winner of the tournament.

As Roma played the final match of the Europa Conference League with Feyenoord football club on Albernia’s Kombetare Arena. As Roma defeated Feyenoord football club 1-0.

Ghanaian professional player called Felix Afena Gyan, who plays for the Italian top football club As Roma, has been honoured with the title of the Europa Conference League for the first time. Actually, this is his first ever European trophy that he has achieved. Felix Afena Gyan has also become the first Ghanaian professional player to have won the Europa Conference League title in his teens.

This achievement took place after his football club As Roma had defeated Feyenoord 1-0 on Wednesday night of 25th May, 2022.
