During the celebrations, Afena Gyan went to the Italian defender Maccini and hit him in the face and this has angered many Ghanaians. This was not the first time he did it in that match. Many Ghanaians were supporting Jose Mourinho and his men as he had a Ghanaian striker in his team.
Afena Gyan when asked about the situation went on to say that it wasn’t a big deal but it was just a joke. These were the wirkd of Afena Gyan,”It wasn’t serious. We joke and fight at the same. It’s normal and nothing serious,” He clarified in a Whatsapp conversation with a close associate.
Afena Gyan has been seen celebrating with Maccini before so it was really a surprise to see this.
