We’ve Come A Long Way Since 1963 But We Have More Steep Mountains To Climb – John Mahama Reveals

Former President and the flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama has dropped another message to Ghanaians and all Africans who are part of the African Union.

According to the former president’s statement since the African Union was established on 25th May 1963 there is a lot they have done but it is still not enough. They have more steep mountains to climb.

He reveals what they have planned to do on this year’s Africa Union day which includes focusing on African indigenous foods, variety and nutritional value. He also congratulates farmers across and pleads to the government and business community to invest more in agriculture and the marketing of African products.

According to him, he believes agriculture is one of the best ways to develop Africa from poverty to prosperity if we all put ourselves together and make it our priority.

Happy African Union Day.
