Greater Accra TESCON endorses Moses Abor for youth organiser position

The Greater Accra Regional Branch of the Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON) of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has thrown its weight behind incumbent Regional Youth Organiser, Moses Abor to be maintained in the upcoming Regional Elections.

TESCON is the tertiary students wing of the NPP.  It works under the Regional Youth Organisers wing of the party.

Currently, TESCON is present in 52 institutions in the Greater Accra Region.

Speaking at a press briefing at the Accra College of Education, Co-ordinator for TESCON for the Greater Accra region, Daniel Obeng indicated that Moses Abor over the years had worked hard even without resources to improve the fortunes of the party.

“Moses Abor took over at a time when there were only 33 branches of TESCON in the region. Today, due to his hardwork and vision, the NDC and TEIN in the region has been buried in the grave of Prof. Mills.”

At the same event, the group unveiled what it calls a 15-point plan of achievements by Moses Abor since assuming office.

Key among these achievements include the facilitation of national service slots for party members and securing job placements for party faithful.

The NPP Regional Elections will be held over the weekend. Moses Abor faces competition from two other contenders for the position of Greater Accra Regional Youth Organiser
