‘I Was The One Who Gave Sarkodie His First Biggest Show’

Ghanaian musician and socialite, Kwame Asare Obeng who is known as Kwame A Plus in showbiz has revealed the influence he has had in the showbiz industry.

He made this known during a recent interview on the popular Ghanaian television station, Joy Prime when he was interviewed by Roselyn Felli.

In the interview, he spoke about how he gave people their biggest show and one of such people is the award-winning Ghanaian musician, Michael Owusu Addo who is known as Sarkodie.

He also mentioned some of the biggest stars he has promoted and the list includes Yaw Sarpong, Samini, Santo, Paa Bobo, and others.

A Plus has been a household name ever since he came into the limelight. He rose to fame after singing about events leading to and after Ghana’s 2000 general elections.

In 2000, he released his album dubbed, “Freedom of Speech” and he used one of his tracks titled, Mesuro Mpo Na Merekeka Yi O to berate politicians.

He has released several songs and notable ones are Agye gon, Two paddies, Zilo, Mansa, Asem kese, and Igwe.
