“It’s Not True Most Musicians In Ghana Are Addicted To Smoking Weed”-KK Fosu Says

Ace Ghanaian Highlife musician, Kaakyire Kwame Fosu, widely known as KK Fosu has debunked assertions made by Ghanaians that most musicians are addicted to hard drugs.

Speaking in an interview with the ace broadcaster, Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana on the “Atuu” segment on UTV, KK Fosu stated that it is never true that musicians are mostly addicted to hard substances like weed.

Well, this comes after the many assertions made by Ghanaians that most musicians take in hard substances to boost their energy for music. Some smoke marijuana before coming on stage to perform and others also smoke the substance for inspiration for their music.

KK Fosu has finally laid waste to such claims, saying rumors about most musicians addicted to marijuana have no iota of truth.

Meanwhile, Ghanaian singer, Mona Faiz Montrage, well known as Hajia4Real or Mona4Real has stated that she was glad to have chased her childhood dreams of becoming a musician in Ghana.

Speaking in an interview with Berla Mundi on TV3’s New Day, Mona4Real stated that she was pushed by her father to pursue music since it has always been her dream to become a musician.

After taking her father’s advice, she then consulted some of the key industry players like the all-time Ghanaian favorite dancehall musician, Shatta Wale, and the CEO of Lynx Entertainment, Richie Mensah.

Mona4Real stated that she is happy to listen to her daddy’s advice and that of her friends to pursue music because she has realized that people love her music and she cannot wait to give them more.
