E-levy Will Be Canceled – Security Analyst

The security analyst, Abass Osabutey in an interview on TV XYZ today with the host of “Abranaa so”, Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah reveals that the tax on electronic transactions (E-levy) will be canceled by the government who implemented it and that is the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.

Ever since the tax on electronic transactions (E-levy) was implemented, Abass Osabutey for instance has never made payments to the tax as he halted transferring money from his wallet to another person.

Since Abass Osabutey never paid the tax on electronic transactions (E-levy), he believes most Ghanaians are also not paying it.

If this continues to happen, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government will realize that the citizens are not paying the tax on electronic transactions (E-levy) so they will cancel it.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) government will cancel the tax on electronic transactions (E-levy) because the revenue they expected to generate will fail and for that matter, they will see the reason for not continuing this type of tax anymore.
