Mahama Started The Sale Of The Achimota Forest – Sylvester Tetteh Reveals; Ghanaians Massively React

The member of Parliament for Bortianor-ngleshie Amanfro constituency in the Greater Accra region, Honorable Sylvester Tetteh has dropped some allegations against former president John Mahama.

In his recent interview on Metro TV, the MP revealed that John Mahama was the one who started the sale of Achimota Forest.

“On the 5th of September, 2013, the then President of the republic of Ghana, John Mahama gave executive approval for the conversion of the forest reserve into an Echo Tourism Park in 2013 and to release the peripheral portions of the forest reserve to the family” he said.

He added that it was John Mahama that started and not Ghana’s incumbent president. He added that the deal between the family of the land and the government in 2013 caused a lot of leases on the land.

“I don’t want to believe that at the time John Mahama was taking that decision, he was stealing the land” he added.

Honorable Sylvester believes urged Ghanaians to stay calm and cause this government has no intention of selling any portion of the land.
