Breaking the eight year cycle in Ghana’s Presidential elections has been the main agenda of the New Patriotic Party. Nevertheless, many have criticised them of not being able to achieve their aim. However, the Honourable member of Parliament representing the people of Asante Mampong constituency, Hon. Kwaku Ampratwum-Sarpong has made a wild revelation.
In a recent meeting with other prominent members, the MP noted that the NPP will change history or change destiny by breaking the eight. On the contrary, the MP again revealed that coupled with the high cost of living in the country now, if elections are suppose to be organized today, the NPP will lose massively. As maintained by him, white is white and black is black. He will say it and tell it as it is.
Furthermore, he indicated that his ears are on the ground and knows what his constituents have been saying all around the country. In his conclusion, he emphatically stated that the NPP have a mountain to climb if they want to break the eight.
