Current Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has had his marital issue become public.
The businessman who has for long kept his family out of the limelight has had his marital issue on the lips of people on social media.
According to the allegation made by Kwesi Nti, former NPP Constituency Chairman of Fomena, Chairman Wontumi got into a fistfight with his first wife who confronted him for cheating in their matrimonial home.

Kwesi Nti in his claims stated that he was an eyewitness to whatever happened between the couple.
He made this allegation when reacting to a viral photo of him wearing a torn shirt.

Explaining the photo, Kwesi Nti said the photo was taken in the house of Chairman Wontumi after he separated a fight between Wontumi and his wife.
According to Kwesi Nti, he was visiting Chairman Wontumi when he chanced on a serious brawl between him and his first wife.
Apparently, the wife was confronting him for sleeping with women in their matrimonial home.
Kwesi Nti explained that trying to separate the couples, he had his shirt torn.
