Former Black Stars defender, Lee Addy has spoken to Gold TalkSport about his failed move to Hearts of Oak.
The former Berekum Chelsea defender trained with the Phobians in a bid to join them on a free but the deal collapsed at the eleventh hour. Addy however wants to help add value to the league despite his failed move to the defending league champions.
“Hearts of Oak is my team and I went there to play but it couldn’t materialize. “I think I will play for a local side, that is what I have decided but God knows best. If God says I should move outside the country I will, if he says I should play I will but my decision and focus is to play the local league and help the younger ones.
“The main ambition, the main focus playing the local side is to help the younger ones and tell them what if they travel from Ghana what they are going to meet and even add value to the league. “Because most of the big guys are playing now and that is what I wanted to start earlier but it couldn’t materialize. “But I thank God that now they’ve come in, we will also join and I think Ghana league will be one of the best in Africa.” Lee Addy told Radio Gold TalkSport.
