Dr Zanetor Agyeman Rawlings Fulfills One Of Her Biggest Campaign Promise In North Adabraka

The member of parliament for Korle Klottey Constituency, Hon Dr Zenator Agyeman Rawlings has fulfilled one of her biggest campaign promise to provide free Health Outreach Clinics to my constituents. This time, the member of parliament held it in the Adabraka sector, specifically the Kasapa Carpark to serve the community in North Adabraka.

Her office teamed up with the Medical Women Association of Ghana to provide general OPD services as well as Dental, Ophthalmology, ENT, Cervical screening, and the usual bloods. She also provided free medications to all those who were given prescriptions.

“The objective of these outreach programmes is to ensure that access to good healthcare is not limited to those within a certain socio-economic class. Furthermore, these programmes help us identify persons who have hypertension or diabetes and might not even be aware of same, in order to provide early intervention” she said in her speech

She further continued to say “With the addition of Cervical Screening for women, we ensure that our women can have a chance at proper reproductive health and early detection of cervical changes/cancer for better treatment outcomes.

Still waiting for Ghana to roll out a nationwide cervical screening programme as easily as the vaccine for Covid was rolled out. In the meantime, we are doing our bit for our women”

The member of parliament thanked everyone who supported the program and promised to do even more.
